A wind turbine development in South Lanarkshire has been opposed by the council on the grounds of its potential impact the landscape and important infrastructure in the area.
OnPath Energy applied for the construction and operation of a development comprising 35 wind turbines, with a maximum blade tip height of between 210 metres and 250 metres, along with a battery energy storage system of up to 100MW and associated Infrastructure to the south east of Douglas, on both sides of the M74.
