Rural communities have spoken out against a move to axe the option to object to renewable energy projects via email.
The Scottish Government’s Energy Consents Unit (ECU) confirmed this week that it will no longer accept public objections by email.
Instead, people are being required to submit representations only through the Energy Consents website or by post.
