THE boss of Britain’s oldest snowsports centre has branded Ed Miliband’s net zero policies ‘lunacy’ after being forced to pay hundreds of thousands in green levies and standing charges.
Andy Meldrum, who runs the Glencoe Mountain resort, has seen the amount he spends on electricity soar to £80,000 after he went to fix a two-year deal through a broker.
But he was left in shock when £247,836 was slapped on top of the bill in charges mainly related to net zero policies.
