The following documents were research by SAS team member Stephen Lucking.
“I created the 2022 document mainly for comparison with what has happened in 2023. In 2022 the majority of decisions were on smaller schemes with 8 of the 15 appeals being refused. All 9 S36 schemes were consented.
In the 2023 document, the focus has moved sharply to S36 schemes with 19 being decided. Those without an objection were waved through but 4 of those which went to a PLI were refused.
The changes are significant.
