Wind set fair for Scottish tourism – Herald (letters)

It is welcome news that self-catering staycations are growing in popularity
(“Self-catering holidays in Scotland prove increasingly popular”, The
Herald, December 30) and it is to be hoped that the wilder proponents of
wind farms at all costs will take on board your editorial (“Scotland’s
special effect”, The Herald December 30) and the priceless asset of our
wonderful scenery.
