SNP ministers have been accused of “selling the family silver” after it emerged they had used a £750 million fund built up from selling offshore wind plots to plug their budget gap. Shona Robison set out her spending plans last week with the Nats facing a £1.5 billion black hole.
But details buried in the documents show that £550m of ScotWind cash has been committed. Of that, £310m is for use in the current financial year alone. https://www.scottishdailyexpress.co.uk/news/politics/snp-ministers-sell-family-silver-31739158?fbclid=IwAR2fMHcx0dGzy05_8iLLHu-7-Eb7rqiI2ZhHy9LY_yOvIxm8MoNvsA7wp3k
